Just to give you a vague idea of one reason why perhaps I haven’t been my bloggy self lately… Today I worked from 9 to 3. Then Herb drove me downtown so I could get my weekly therapeutic massage, because it seems to be what helps my arm now (yes, almost a year later… and recently it’s been getting worse, of only slightly). Then he picked me up and drove me home. So I worked from 5:30 to 7, pausing sometimes to make dinner. Herb left for a training session at his soon-to-be-returning-to job. Between 7 and 8 I took the time to have a pleasant dinner and chat with the Kid (the fact that this child loves fresh raw vegetables is a life-saver! well, a time-saver, anyway!). Then I sat back at my desk, where you’ll likely find me for a few more hours. I do this to give myself a tiny chance of having a full two day weekend. Because Thursday and Friday are fully packed with work already. Because I’ve taken two days off in a row only once in living memoryrecent weeks. (Now, why is my arm getting worse… I wonder.) I’d tell you not to worry, that I’m still reading your blog. As long as you don’t check your blog’s statistics, go ahead and believe it!
Random hump-evening thought: nothing is funnier than the look on a cat’s face when, used to drinking from your glass of water, he is suddenly faced with bubbly water!
