OUCH Part two

Went to see a chiropractor, and didn’t even see her flinch when I gave her my self-diagnosis. I was right, too: epicondilytis. So more rest and more treatment is in order. The good news is that I was basically doing the right things, with my arm thingie and ice and rest. Another good news, although I could have used that time for other impossible-with-a-painful-elbow things, is that over the past ten days I went from re-reading the first Harry Potter to past the middle of the fifth. The bad news is that I shouldn’t be telling you any of this, as objectively speaking this counts as “non essential use of elbow”…

Sorry to hear you’re in rip/torn elbow pains. I’ve had a seriously pulled nerve cluster in my shoulder for weeks now. It’s scary to discover just how far nerves can carry pain. I tell friends it feels like an invisible shark tried to bite my right shoulder off, but only managed to leave deep teeth marks before someone frightened him off with a pointy stick.
