Time, precious precious time!

Here are some random news again, because that’s all I have time for! The Kid and I are going to the country this weekend, kindly invited by a couple of friends — I don’t know about him, but *I* for one need to get out of the city. Mind you, I’m also going crazy because being in the woods is nice and fine, but that means none of my crafty projets will go forward. Mind me, I’ve had pain in my wrists and up to my elbows for a week because I am insane enough not to stop when my body kindly asks me to, so a forced period of rest will be beneficial to all. Of course I’ll bring my notebook along and am likely to come back with even more projects… Speaking of which, I have taken the plunge and will be presenting at the next Creacamp (come in throngs! (or in thongs, it’s a free world)). It’s already stressing me out, but I already know it’s a good thing (when I count over a hundred pairs of earings, not counting the pendants, necklaces, toys, bracelets and other stuff I’ve made, I have to admit it’s time I get my act together and start showing my stuff!). Oh, why is Herb not coming with us this weekend? Because he works. That’s right, convalescing is over, and my man is again an active member of society and somesuch. He has a new job and he’s excited and happy. In other news, we now have a new bicycle each! (Well, not new, but new to us!) And they happened to come in the proper colour for each of us (blue, red, green, you figure it out)! Thanks, Dave! In other news, health is important. Yes sir. My best friend has a treatble but annoying condition… which turned out into quite a lot of fun and excitement here, strangely enough, as he requested a pair of pants from me and I got back into the sewing groove. The patience I’ve acquired these past few years is paying off! Health-wise, what worries me more is my mom, who passed out and knocked herself out a week ago in her kitchen. Something’s wrong. Sometimes she can’t breathe and just faints. I lectured her into not fucking around and seeing her doctor asap. Here… school will be over in a week. Bye-bye, fourth grade already! I hope he gets as good a teacher next year. Time is running and I’m right behind it at all times. Pffff. So many projects, so little time. So many problems, such a small back-of-mind closet to cram them into. All and all life is full of creation, therefore it’s good. Or rather, that is how I choose to see this mixed bag!

Hmmm… faut que je prépare mes bagages et je me dis déjà que si j’amenais mon tricot, je pourrais faire un chapeau aller et un chapeau retour… Somebody give me some frikkin’ Valium!

Par contre j’ai traduit toute la matinée et mes avant-bras élancent. Pas de tricot pour moi!
